The many names of God revealed in Scripture tell us much about who He is. Those names invite us to know Him in a growing and intimate relationship. In this series, we’ll examine 4 of those names more closely. And in doing so, we’ll get a glimpse of the infinite God that we are forging our life on. God reveals Himself fully so that we might experience who He is in all His fullness.

Our names are important to us. The first question we often as a person is, “What is your name?” As we get to know people, their names become more than just words on a name tag; they bring to mind the personality and character of the person.

Christians say that they love people, but when everyone in the church looks the same or doesn't represent the diversity of their area, there is a BIG PROBLEM. When we don't welcome or advocate for those different from us, the Church will never reflect what God desires heaven to look like.

When the glory of God has departed in our lives, we have two options. If we are to become what we were created to be, we need to repent of our brainless exchange (Romans 1:22) and recognize the glory we have been desperately missing: the glory of Jesus who is the perfect image of God (Col. 1:15).
When we make Jesus our king and place our trust and allegiance in him, the Holy Spirit begins to reshape us to our original created glory.
So, which will it be… continuing to worship idols which disappoint (money, sex, and power) or bowing the knee to Jesus?
Will you open your eyes to the glory of Jesus or settle for stupid shadows?
